Clarity Equine offers individualized tutoring and learning support provided by a certified teacher, giving learners additional time, instruction, and strategies based on their individual strengths, needs, and goals.

Our approach is flexible, practical, and encouraging. We meet learners where they are and adapt instruction to help them build skills, understanding, and greater independence.

More Than Homework Help

Tutoring can focus on both academic skills and the skills needed to become a more independent learner.

For one student, that may mean breaking a large assignment into manageable steps. For another, it may involve strengthening foundational reading or math skills, developing an organization system, preparing for a test, or finding a different way to understand a challenging concept.

Sessions are adapted to the learner's strengths, needs, pace, and goals.

Supporting Individual Education Goals

When appropriate, tutoring can complement goals identified within an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or other educational support plan.

Families are welcome to share relevant educational information, strategies, and accommodations that help us understand how the student learns best.

Who Is Tutoring For?

Tutoring and learning support is available for children and youth who may benefit from:

  • One-to-one instruction

  • Additional practice or reinforcement

  • Alternative approaches to learning

  • Homework and assignment support

  • Literacy or numeracy development

  • Study and organizational skills

  • Executive-functioning support

  • A smaller, more individualized learning environment

A diagnosis is not required to access tutoring.

A Different Place to Learn

Clarity Equine provides a learning environment that feels different from a traditional classroom or tutoring centre.

Depending on the learner and their goals, sessions may be primarily academic or may incorporate practical, real-world and farm-based examples to make concepts more meaningful and engaging.

Horse involvement is not required for tutoring.

Each learner's programming is individualized according to their current abilities, learning needs, and educational goals.

Getting Started

We begin by getting to know the learner—their strengths, current challenges, learning preferences, school goals, and areas where additional support would be helpful.

From there, we develop an individualized approach designed to help the learner build skills and confidence while progressing toward their goals.
